Obviously we can't always get absolutely all of the pitting out if it is too deep, but the bottom of the pits will be rust free when we're done, and sometimes even bad pitting can be removed if not too deep!
The reason for this is that if you polish too much, you risk diminishing the integrity of the steel, so some deep pits are best left alone~
Be sure to take a look at all of the pictures and then send us your gun!! If you don't want to wait for the scrolling gallery, shoot down past that for individual pictures! And share these! Please! We'd really appreciate it~
